As for her collaboration with Bennett, Gaga says the legendary crooner “has completely changed my life.”
“It’s been a sort of secret that I’ve been singing jazz since I was 13,” she says. “I was a jazz singer before I was a pop singer.”
She notes, “Tony is such a gentleman. He really treats me like a lady.”
“I feel so healed by my relationship with him because some men were very bad to me when I was young and in the studio,” adds Gaga. “Tony showed me what the elegant and old-school cats were like. Our recording sessions were beautiful, memorable. We’ve built a deep friendship. There are 60 years between us, but when we sing together there is no distance.”

 It is truly heartbreaking to hear about the numerous individuals that have passed away from the deadly Ebola Virus.

One of the latest casualties of the disease is a 4-month-old baby boy called Faya, who died in Gueckadou, South East Guinea, BBC reports.

Faya is said to have caught the virus from his mother, who died a few weeks ago.

His corpse has been buried in a forest. The boy’s family is reportedly “too scared” to attend his funeral.

“I was there with him just before he died…I had been feeding him milk. I stepped away, just for a short break, but then I was called back and he was dead. I was totally devastated,” said Adele Millimouno, a Medicines Sans Frontieres (MSF) nurse who was taking care of the baby.

The International Federation of the Red Cross and Medicines Sans Frontieres told BBC that “the [Ebola] situation across West Africa remains out of control.”

Going by history, this Rolls Royce was passed down in 1953 to the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero who died on the 6th of June 2014. The late Ado Bayero inherited it from Emir Muhammadu Inuwa. This Rolls Royce has a 5-litre straight engine Hooper body. It was used to transport the Queen of England, and the Duke of Edinburgh during their official visit to Kano in 1956.

Rumors of a “Flawless (Remix)” haven’t been confirmed by either diva’s camp, but hopefully, it’s happening.

A 35-year-old man, Yinka Offehin, who resides on Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos is now battling for life after his scrotum was cut by the children of his landlady.

According to reports, Yinka was attacked while sleeping in his room with his family members.

His wife, Bisi, who was with him when the incident happened, identified the assailants as Solomon and Damilola, the children of the landlady.

She said, “On Thursday morning, around 3am, while we were sleeping, we heard loud bangs on our door. We initially thought they were armed robbers because the house beside ours had recently been robbed.

“When they entered, we saw they were children of our landlady. They began destroying our electronics and other property.

“There were two of them. One held a knife in his hand. They took N800, 000. They descended on my husband and he also fought back. In that confusion, my husband shouted and we saw that one of the attackers had cut Yinka’s scrotum. I can’t say what they used to cut off my husband’s scrotum.”

Explaining what led to the unthinkable action, the victim said the genesis of his problem was when he had a misunderstanding with his landlady and was asked to vacate his apartment.

“I was asked to leave the house immediately, but after the intervention of the traditional ruler of the community, I was asked to leave by the end of August.

“But that decision did not go down well with the children of my landlady and they continued to make trouble with me.

“I was already planning to leave their house and had even contacted an agent when they attacked me without any provocation. I want the government to fight for me,” he said.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the incident, saying “It was around 3am, while the victim was sleeping in his room, that one Solomon Olowogbemi and Damilola Olayeye, the children of his landlady, came in and started fighting with him.

“In the process, they inflicted injury on him with an unknown object. The skin of his scrotum was partly cut off, thereby exposing one of his testicles. The two suspects have been arrested and detained and the victim taken to a hospital.”

The Lagos state government has allayed fears that some of the airport official that came in contact with Patrick Sawyer, may have been manifesting symptoms of the virus.

Indication emerged,  yesterday, that one of the 15 airport contacts that assisted the late Liberian, Mr. Patrick Sawyer, that died of Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, may have contracted the deadly virus.

Unconfirmed reports revealed that already the contact has begun to manifest symptoms of Ebola Virus.

According to a member of the Joint Federal and State Team on Ebola outbreak who preferred anonymity; one of the persons who accompanied late Patrick Sawyer is already showing signs of Ebola.

The reliable source confirmed receipt of a short message service, SMS, text that the person who assisted late Patrick Sawyer to move out of the plane is presenting symptoms, identifiable with EVD. “In fact, I just got a text that the person who helped Sawyer, the Liberian, to get out of the air plane is down with a suspected case of Ebola. You can see we have to be very careful. I cannot say specifically whether he or she is a Nigerian or in Nigeria right now. He is still being monitored as we speak,” he said.

He added that the latest victim was among those who were being quarantined for having first contact with the victim.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government in a swift reaction through a text message said that no one of the 59 contacts is sick for now. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Health, Dr. Yewande Adeshina who responded through a text message said: “It is not true. We are doing routine surveillance, no one is sick.”

Students Escape Death As Enugu Shuttle Bus Goes Up In Flames.

About 60 students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), narrowly escaped death on Thursday, following a mysterious fire that engulfed a Shuttle bus conveying them from the institution to the city.
The bus caught fire, few metres away from the Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS), Enugu and the Nigerian Television Authority, (NTA), Enugu.
Although there were no deaths, many of the students and other passengers sustained serious injuries in the near stampede that resulted while escaping to safety through the widows and other exit available spaces in the bus.
Valuables including Laptops and handsets belonging to the students were also completely destroyed by the fire.
According to reports, the timely alert by detached policemen from Independence Layout, Enugu, saved the lives of the students.
One of the survivors, Vivian, narrated how the security operatives suddenly stopped the driver, raising the alarm that fire was oozing out from the vehicle.
“We were saved by God through the policemen who were coming behind us. They stopped our vehicle and shouted to us to come down quickly. We jumped out. I thank God nobody died in the inferno,” she said.
Another survivor, Ebere Okechi said “I lost my Nokia phone, all the passengers inside the vehicle did not know that the shuttle bus was burning,  outsiders were shouting fire, fire before we started jumping out from the bus.”
Confirming the incident, the coordinator of the Coal City Shuttle Bus, Nnaemeka Ojibe, said the fire was caused by faulty battery.

Recently, a couple on a Florida Beach were arrested by police after they
had sex in full view of dozens of people, including kids, in the middleof the day at a public beach.
According to news by Fox 13 Tampa Bay, people watched at first, outraged but not doing
anything, while Jose “Benny” Caballero and Elissa Alvarez had sex for about 25 minutes.

However, when the couple decided to go for round two, someone walked up to them and stopped them while another called the police.
And of course someone pulled out her phone to take a video of the couple.

It was an unidentified grandmother who made the video and she "is

outraged since her grandchildren saw this, and of course, they started
asking questions.”

The grandma said after the first round, with the woman on top, the couple had a swim, and then rested for a while.
   "We thought they were dead, but when they woke up, they cuddled for a while, then started into the same thing they did before.”

A parent who was also on the beach called the police, who arrived to
arrest the two. Caballero and Alvarez were charged with lewd and
lascivious behavior and later released on a bond.
Sex on the beach was made romantic to me in some M&Bs but thinking about it now, sand will just get everywhere!

Striker Didier Drogba has re-signed for Chelsea on a one-year deal.

The Ivorian, 36, won 10 trophies at Chelsea from 2004 to 2012 and was a free agent after leaving Galatasaray.

Drogba told Chelsea's official site:  "It was an easy decision - I couldn't turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again."

He said: "Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me.

"My desire to win is still the same and I look forward to the opportunity to help this team. I am excited for this next chapter of my career."

He left the club in 2012 after scoring the winning penalty in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

I brought you'll news about this ill fated Air Algerian flight, that Crashed in Mali . Now, the French president has disclosed that all crew and passengers on board died. He also disclosed that one of the black boxes in the plane has been recovered. Among the 116 passengers on the plane, were; 51 French, 27 Burkina Faso nationals, 8 Lebanese, 6 Algerians, 5 Canadians, 4 Germans, 2 Luxemburg nationals, 1 Swiss, 1 Belgium, 1 Egyptian, 1 Ukrainian, 1 Nigerian, 1 Cameroonian and 1 Malian and 6 Spanish crew members. 
May their souls rest in peace, Amen.

My Experience With Weed.

SO I read this story today and I have lughed my head out, just then i decided to share the story bout a guy who decicded to try what it felt like to have weed.
 


I had just moved out of my parents house and was sharing a room with my "friend". I had no idea he smoked weed, despite his suspicious movements and signature weed scent(abi na odour?) barely two weeks after moving in with him, my worst fears were confirmed as he started bringing home his weed smoking buddies and they would occassionally roll a wrap and smoke it right there in the room or mix the weed with beans or spagehtti. Being a very curious person i always wondered what made them happy after smoking, so i decided to find out for myself(wrong move) It was a very hot day in february, a saturday i think it was, my friend was out as usual. I searched everywhere for his stash but couldn't find it so i decided to go and get mine. I arrived the weed joint all sweaty and nervous, half expecting to get muged but nobody seemed to be aware of my presence there, they were all on different planets all expect one i concluded that he must be the seller so i approached him and the following conversation ensued:
Me: how far?
Weed seller: i dey
Me: i wan buy weed
Weed seller: how many parcel?
Me: parcel ke? Iro oo, na just small i need
Weed seller: laughs really hard. bolo leleyi sha(meaning this guy is a dunce oo) Apparently, a parcel of weed is that small wrap, i didn't know that. I thought it was something very large. I gave him 1000naira and he gave me a tiny wrap of weed with a white paper, i was surprised when he gave me 950 as change. I couldn't believe weed was that cheap. On my way home, i decided not to smoke it but mix it with beans because i thought that it will be better that way(another wrong move). Long story short, i cooked beans and added the whole weed, ate it and called my friend, i told him ogbeni i just ate weed oo and nothing happened to me this one that you people will eat and be feeling funky, i don chop am oo. My friend was like ehen you be strong man oo I decided to take a quick nap before doing laundry, i woke up about 20 minutes later on the floor i was banging my head on the floor, and i couldn't stop, my heart beat was so audible and fast, everything was extra bright and extra loud. After a few minutes of head banging, i was able to get up from the floor, I felt as if i had just gained access to a part of my mind that I never knew existed previously, it was scary and cool at the same time. I could feel the blood flowing in my veins(you have to experience it to believe it. Though I strongly advise against it) i felt so uncomfortable in the room, it felt like i was in an oven suddenly a voice in my head whispered ogbeni bo aso e joor (off your clothes) i obeyed. The voice came again oya sa re(now run) that was when i realized that the weed had taken effect so i decided to take a shower to see if it will calm me down, but the water felt so hot on my skin so hot i ran out of the bathroom. I called my friend to see if he could help me make sense of what was going on but he laughed at me, he asked me the quantity of weed i took and i told him i used a whole parcel, he said guyyyyy you don eff up if you no sleep in the next 30mins, you go mad oo go chemist make you go explain yourself. By this time things had escalated, i had a severe itch at the back of my head that wouldn't go away no matter how hard i scratched and i was convinced that the beating in my chest was an evil spirit that could only be killed with a punch. I ran to my neighbour champion and told him champion e jo e fun mi lese laya(champion pls punch me in the chest) ti e ba gbami lese laya mo ma ku oo(if you don't punch me i will die oo) he hissed and walked out having had enough of such nonsense from the boys in the boys quatters. The voice in my head came again iwo na o de gba ara e lese laya abi o ti fe ku ni(why don't you punch yourself in the chest or do you want to die?) i punched and punched but there was no difference. The house was getting hotter, the voice in my head was getting louder, the itch in my head was getting worse, and the evil spirit in my chest was getting louder. Then came the voice again oya ma sare lo(start running) so i started running but on getting outside in the sun, i felt so cold i was shivering but that didn't stop me from running(i would have given husain bolt a run for his money on that day). On getting to the chemist, i realized i was bare footed, i told him i had a severe headache i needed something to make me sleep immediately, he gave me the drug and i chewed it right there in his presence, next i asked him to give me a drug for evil spirit, that was when he realized something was wrong with me and chased me out. I got back home and tried to sleep but my heart beat wouldnt let me, so i ran back out this time around to a nurse in the area, first thing she asked was kilode o wo bata ni? (why don't you have your shoes on? I told her jackie chan ti gba bata lowo mi (jackie chan collected my shoes) i was finally able to explain my situation to her and she took me in, tied something around my elbow and injected me directly in the vein. I passed out immediately only to wake around 1 or 2am in the middle of the night with the worst kind of hunger I have ever felt in my life. I ate a whole loaf of butter field bread in one sitting without butter or tea. I came home to a hero's welcome, my friend told me e be like say your head no carry am but e go better make you try am once more so you go dey use to it. The following day while the house was empty, I packed my Ghana must go and like the prodigal son in the bible I went back home to my parents. It's been a few years since that experience but the lesson I learnt is an unforgettable one. My curiosity hasn't gotten me in trouble again and my circle of friends have since changed.
